We wish all mothers in the parish a very special day on Sunday!

Songs of Praise

Music is an extremely important part of our worship and is proven to be a great healer of the body, mind and spirit. Join your fellow parishioners for our very own “Songs of Praise’.
Sunday 2 June 2pm -2.40pm in the church. Gold coin donation - goes towards parish events for the year.

Concert in Immaculate Conception Church - Miss George

Sunday 16 June 2024 2pm - 3.15pm. In the beautiful location of Immaculate Conception Church, join Miss George (Georgina Docherty) alongside Steve Rando on guitar as she sings Eva Cassidy's stunning interpretations of some of the most loved Standards and Folk tunes ever written. Her soaring, bluesy and tender vocals will serenade you through songs such as You Take my Breath Away, Woodstock, American Tune & Kathy’s Song as well as mega hits like Songbird, Over the Rainbow, What a Wonderful World & Fields of Gold. , $30/person, bookings here

Christmas in July

Celebrate Christmas in July on Wednesday 24 July at 7pm in the Parish Centre. There will be Christmas pudding, mulled wine, mince pies and carols from the choir. RSVP via the link trybooking.com/CRGLV for catering purposes only—there is no fee

Friends of the Carmelite Nuns of Kew Film Night

Maytime Fair Hawthorn Parish Stall – Thank You

Fr Des Dwyer

Parish Priest Des Dwyer is Parish Priest at Immaculate Conception Hawthorn. Born in Warrnambool he was educated at Xavier College. After leaving school he joined the Jesuits and was ordained in 1974. He did post graduate studies in Spirituality at St Louis University USA, taught in Jesuit Schools in Sydney for 5 years, was appointed Novice Master in 1983 and in 1990 moved to work with the Business Community.
