The Hawthorn Catholic Parish strives to be a Christian Community focused on Jesus, helping all celebrate God’s presence and expressing our faith through outreach, service and justice.

We express our vision through prayerful liturgies, welcoming hospitality, ministering to young families, the youth, the elderly and the homeless and refugees in our area. Our parish groups are centered on those needs of our community.

Colleen Daniels, Monica Anastasopoulos and Sr Marg Finlay IBVM will be our speakers this year and our host for the night is Jane Nathan.

We will have our usual musical interludes between speakers – a highlight in itself. There will also be a lovely chicken sandwich and champagne supper to finish the evening.

A lovely day on the bay.
Celebrating 25 years of the St.Vincent de Paul Bus trip.
Travelling by bus to Sorrento, across to Queenscliff by Ferry, then home via the Geelong foreshore.
Enjoying gourmet sandwiches and rolls on board the Ferry, we were treated to a delicious Devonshire Tea and fresh fruit platters at the Vue Grand.
Thank you to all those who attended, and to those who assisted and companioned others, making it a memorable day. (see photos here)
