YEP - Youth Engagement Project
About the Youth Engagement Project
YEP is not operating for the foreseeable future
YEP (Youth Engagement Project)
is a joint project of the following Catholic Parishes and Catholic Secondary Colleges:
Sacred Heart, Kew
Immaculate Conception, Hawthorn
Our Lady of Good Counsel, Deepdene
All Hallows, Balwyn
Our Lady of Victories, Camberwell
Genazzano FCJ College
Xavier College
Our Vision
YEP's Vision is as that youth and young adults are actively engaged with the Church, so that they might claim it as their own and “take up their rightful place as the young heart of the Church.”
Activities
YEP runs activities throughout the year that cater to our youth and young adults (year 9 – 12 and post school) ranging from monthly youth nights to Open House nights with engaging guest speakers to a monthly Youth Led Mass at OLGC, Deepdene where all are welcome. YEP also provides the opportunities for service through Bourke Immersions, Backyard Blitz’s and involvement with St. Vincent de Paul North Melbourne Soup Van."
